Japanese treat

   Eric is taking a camera class and needed to work on his assignment, and was kind enough to ask me to join him—and give me a lesson on aperture control! We headed to The Japanese Garden at Balboa park. It really felt like being swept away to Kyoto for an afternoon: a lush garden of greenery, water ponds full of lilies in bloom, pine trees and bamboo, a rock garden, and herons, cormorants and ducks.
