On tap for today: a 4.25 mike hike at Clinton lake, with Joni & Alan, Susan & Mark, & a total pack of eight dogs! My favorite hikes are the ones in which the canines outnumber us. Our dogs have all formed a harmonious pack and are extremely friendly & easygoing with each other. It's rewarding to see! Who knew that miss Aki would ever be comfortable in that situation, and off-leash, no less!!!
We found this great, HUGE downed tree and took turns posing on it. Keep in mind, that higher branch is 5-6' off the ground! But the Shibas found their own way up & confidently walked along it. It's easy to see why they make such good hunters!
