Off to See the Blizzard

   That ain't no yellow brick road, and she ain't Toto. But there are some strange things going down in Kansas this week! For the second time in a week, a large snowfall overnight:

   After shoveling the walkway this morning, I let Aki have a rare trip into the front yard unleashed, so she could represent scale. The snow piles around the perimeter of the yard are now at least 4-5 Akis high. One more good snow and lil' Aki could climb onto the covered patio and walk around on the roof!

I can see my house from here!

   P.S. Props to the National Weather Service in Wichita for the strangely adorable map. Haven't seen a scalloped edge on a storm before...
