Supermoon!

This weekend was perfect for camping at Truman Lake, far away from the city lights, for it was the "supermoon" weekend—the largest full moon of 2013. It truly was brilliant, and bathed the campsite in light. Using my Canon EOS Rebel T4i (and some collaboration on the settings with my friend David F), I captured this photo. Pretty surreal.
The WSJ one-upped me (okay, more than one) with these incredible photos from around the globe.
And when I got home and was passing through my dining room to go out front to get the mail, something in this painting (by my CCAD professor, Tam Peterson) caught my eye. What's that on the right...?
SUPERMOON! Who'd have thought it was hiding in my dining room all along?
