Christy invited me to join her at a KC Foodie meet & greet dinner at Local Pig. They provided half a hog, and members brought amazing side dishes. First I had a BBQ pork sandwich, Christy's quinoa/kale/peach salad, homemade chips, pickled salad, macaroni & cheese, and fancy BBQ beans. Oh, and cheesecake.
I went back for seconds on the best stuff, including the salad, pork, and pickled cherry tomatoes (amazing!!).
