Happy birthday, Brett! Dave and I met him up at Ibis Bakery for their very popular and now-weekly pizza night. We waited about 45 minutes in line to place our order. Wow!
Ibis just secured their liquor license, and a guy from Crane brewing in Raytown was there to sell flights of their sour beers. All were good, and my favorite was either the grapefruit sour, or the kumquat sour… They were the same color, so I'm not really sure which one! As always, the pizza and wheatberry/kale/beet salad were outstanding, and it was a beautiful night to sit outside and enjoy.
