Friday night we got a ton of rain, which on Saturday became freezing rain, then sleet, then huge snowflakes...and lots of them! We ended up with about 5-6" total.
This is about when I start thinking that Kelley is onto something with the whole "living in California" thing.
I will say, though, that this morning was especially beautiful with the sun coming up, illuminating the ice on all the trees.
My neighbors' weeping willow looked pretty spectacular! My tree in the backyard didn't fare so well...a couple of large branches snapped from the weight.
It's supposed to warm up tomorrow, so it was fun (kinda) while it lasted!
