I've been hearing drumming in the neighborhood for weeks, but it was hard to pinpoint. Then I started seeing bits of sawdust at the base of a tree in my backyard. Finally got a good look at the culprit today: it's a male red-bellied woodpecker! (Photo from Wiki; more info)
