Over the last two weeks I've invested at least 40 hours in the yard. Now I know that sounds like tons of fun, but remember that I burn very easily, and that today it was 110 degrees in my backyard, according to my thermometer. Stick a fork in me, I'm done.
New plants from Mom...pretty sure they're amaryllis & elephant ear. Guess we'll see...
New trellis, with what I hope will be really striking red clematis! Also new birdbath & tons of new plants. The blueberry & blackberries from last year look good. Pray for fruit!
Still have some planting to do here, but looking good...

The dogs were hangin' with me outside all day (despite their attempts to sneak inside, back to the air conditioning).
