Tonight I took the dogs to the park--apparently watching me work in the flowerbeds all weekend isn't enough excitement for them and they needed to burn off some energy. Soon after we arrived I noticed four hot air balloons in the distance. And one kept moving closer. Suddenly a chorus of dogs rang out, alerting everyone at the park that danger was approaching, & simultaneously warning the invaders to STAY BACK! (It reminded me of Dug's "SQUIRREL!" exclam in Pixar's "Up".) My dogs didn't appear to notice that anything was out of the ordinary. I'm trying to decide whether that makes them very smart, or very dumb...?

Stir at the dog park
