四年ぐらい前私の初めて日本の旅行をしました。本当にとても楽しかったから、来年も行きました。日本に行った時、写真を三千ぐらいも取って帰りました。そして、今週、私の一番好きな写真を見てこの絵を作りました。日本は面白い所と人と動物と建物とほかのいろいろな物が多いですね。About four years ago I took my first trip to Japan. It was so much fun that I went again the following year (three years in a row, actually!) When I was in Japan I took about 3000 photos or more. And this week, I looked at my favorite photos and used them to create this picture. (In truth, I started this over 2 years ago and have been working on it periodically. A true labor of love!) Japan has many interesting places, people, animals, buildings and other various things, doesn't it? I tried to capture the unique spirit of the country in this photo collage. The actual size is about 12" by 36" inches. I feel like I finally nailed the balance of color and iconography I was going for.
That is soooooo cool! I'd love to see it in person someday.
