Aki the hunter

For WEEKS Aki has been fixated on one corner of the deck, near the stairs. She's always eager to run outside & reluctant to come back in. I was sure I had a family of rabbits living under there.
Last night she was ESPECIALLY interested, frozen in one spot and on point like a real hunting dog. So I grabbed a flashlight and peered between the floorboards and saw...a big pink POSSUM nose!

Not really sure what (if anything) to do about my guests...
