Dog-n-Jog 2010

I've spent some time over the last couple of weeks working on the new Dog-n-Jog 2010 logo. Here's the sketch (warts and all!) I'm envisioning that all the dogs will be printed as silhouettes as in the center area.

Here is a small version of the logo with the final linework, no fill:

And a slightly larger version, with more pups:

And the FULL logo, with ALL the pups! Maybe for the t-shirts:

I tried to represent as many types of dogs as possible, including purebreds and mixed breeds. The purebreds are: labrador, bloodhound, shiba inu, french bulldog, corgi, soft-coated wheaten terrier, german shepherd, rat terrier, golden retriever, chihuahua, scottish terrier, boston terrier, bulldog, cairn terrier, dachshund, airedale terrier, and basset hound. I think there's 22 dogs in all, but I kinda lost count! It was fun to create the dogs & then try to fit them together like a puzzle. Now on to filling in the dogs & finishing the files...
