On the way back home

Apparently KC got hammered with snow while I was gone. It's coming down in St. Louis now too. Here's a shot of the guy de-icing our plane, while we're sitting on it!

On the first leg of the trip home, I sat next to a delightful man who heads up LifeFlight (actually he said his Co. was called "Aero" or "Arrow" something) for an 11-state area—he's a medic as well as a pilot & administrator. At home, he & his wife have 3 dogs, 3 horses, & 7 miniature donkeys, so we had a blast talking on the way to St. Louis. He was telling me all about how he recently got his MBA through the University of Phoenix online & encouraging me to try it. (As if I need something to keep me busy for 22 months!) Here are Tulip & June, 2 of his mares. He said they had a Christmas party for their coworkers, who brought foam reindeer antlers & ran around in their field putting them on all the donkeys! He was such a relief after that nutjob next to whom I was seated on the way out here.
