Spent a few very enjoyable hours at the Nelson this afternoon. I have to pinch myself that we have such an amazing art museum right here in the heart of Kansas City! Years ago when I lived a couple of blocks north of the museum I spent many Saturdays there, both inside enjoying the art, and outside jogging around the sculpture garden. I need to make a point to get over there more often. It's always changing, and ripe with inspiration... This photo is of the lobby in the main (sandstone) building.

The Nelson
Spent a few very enjoyable hours at the Nelson this afternoon. I have to pinch myself that we have such an amazing art museum right here in the heart of Kansas City! Years ago when I lived a couple of blocks north of the museum I spent many Saturdays there, both inside enjoying the art, and outside jogging around the sculpture garden.
