Ok, seriously, I know we're all getting sick of flowers, but I am really happy with these few shots. They are some sort of flowering tree in my side yard (technically the tree is my neighbor's), and my ginormous forsythia bush. I love these first shots because the dappled sunlight & the narrow depth of field caused them to look like watercolors. These are the actual photos: I didn't apply any filters or special effects!

This one has a '70s feel with that sun flare.
Now all I need are bellbottoms and a van.

And a moodier shot: backlit flowers, framed by
the willow tree's branches:

I'm beginning to think my dream is to travel the world and take photographs & get people to pay me for them. Flowers: check!
