A few weeks ago my step aerobics class, which I've taken for a year and a half, was cancelled without notice and Crystal, one of my favorite instructors was gone. It was the best cardio class I've ever taken: always super-challenging and fun. In silent protest I quit going to the gym on Saturday mornings.
Yesterday I suddenly had the urge to go back, and joined the Saturday morning circuit-training class. I was pleased to see many of my former classmates there. We did intense 3-4 minute drills of strength, cardio and endurance. Most of it felt pretty easy, but clearly I was already getting out of shape, because now my gluteus hurts to the maximus!!!
