The rain finally subsided (temporarily) as we dropped off Jemaine & Bret at Gallery 1988. The smell of Pink's was in the air and I had to fight the urge to run across the street for a Guacamole Dog. But we wanted to get to the aquarium early enough to walk around before my 3:00 dive appointment. We blew past the Hollywood Bowl:
And saw someone driving around with an anagram of my name:
Flair Cleaners. For cleaning your flair.
(Aquarium photos coming in a separate post. You know me, I took a ton!)
When we got home from the aquarium we discovered that the Venus flytrap sitting quietly in the kitchen was devouring Eric. Fortunately Kelley was able to wrestle him away from its clutches so we could go out to dinner before it digested him:
Kristin wisely maintained a safe distance:
Then we were off to get Thai food at Kelley and Eric's favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant, The Rustic Spoon. One of those places where the people are so friendly and the service so good that you'd still come all the time even if the food weren't top-notch. But it was!
Kelley's rice looked like a brain. Mmm... rice brains.
Mom had awesome grilled steak and noodles:
Then we came home and were going to watch a movie. And I must say, Netflix categories are hilarious. British Forbidden-Love Movies?? How much more granular can you get? "I'll take 'Movies Based on True Stories of Cerebral Crime Dramas that follow a Lovelorn Businessman in His Search for the True Meaning of Life' for $1,000, Alex!" No matter. I was asleep on the couch before I even saw what they selected. Apparently yoga and Scuba take a lot out of me. Zzzz...
