Aki was totally zonked out on the couch this morning. Guess I'll have to finish the Sunday paper and that Shigeru Miyamoto article from The New Yorker later...
Then something roused her: Normally my dogs don't take much interest in the TV, unless I'm watching Westminster. (Seriously.) But this morning's program about the development of purebred dogs on NatGeo got their attention. It was when they were showing border collies and corgi herding geese. And now they're begging to go outside, as if they believe there to be geese afoot.
No geese up my sleeve, but I did get new collars for them. Crate & Barrel had them on clearance and I thought they were sharp.Taylor inspects his old collar, which was torn to shreds during that dog attack last spring. In my estimation, that collar may have saved his life. In any case, it saved his neck from a similar fate.
