Midwest Aquatics: Great store in the OP with a good selection of dive gear. A great facility for dive training with a beautiful pool on-site. A great resource for dive trips, and the couple that owns the place is gracious about sharing their knowledge. Also, best mannequins ever.
I was there to try on some wetsuits, hoping to find just the right one for my Mexico trip. Or more accurately, to get an idea about what I'd want to buy, IF the trip went well, and IF I decided that diving is for me. And this may be the one...
It is the Cadillac of wetsuits: a super-comfortable Henderson with Aqualoc fabric. (And if I stop buying food, & donate plasma for a few months, I might be able to afford it!) Ah, well. A girl can dream...
It was fun trying them on. And worth being out shopping in order to catch tonight's sunset... WOW!
