As if it were possible for a Shiba Inu to be MORE Japanese, my family bestowed upon us a fancy-schmancy canine camera for my birthday. Now Aki is a bona fide Japanese tourist, no? Given the Shiba's short stature, I'm sure this experiment will produce many fine photos of footsteps and ankle bones. Fine art to be sure.
Unfortunately, the "new" batteries I loaded into the camera failed immediately (and I didn't realize it), so we have no photos from today's outing. It's too bad, too, because there was a heavy snowfall, and a surprising number of people & dogs at the park. (All cold-loving breeds like Huskies and shaggy mutts. And a fox terrier & Jack Russell in sweaters. LOL) We'll try again later...
