Taylor on the Taylor scale. I think the "chow hound" tag says it all. The Hungriest Dog in the World has gained 3 pounds. And that's not all winter coat weight!
Although I DID weigh him specifically to confirm that his "puffiness" wasn't simply his heavy coat coming in. It's been two years since I've seen it, after all. We had NO snow last winter, and the temperatures barely got below 40-50 degrees as best as I can remember... because we hiked all through the season. This resulted in the dogs staying low in coat, and literally shedding continuously throughout 2012. Not fun. Personally I will be relieved to get the snow & the cold this year. Bring it on!
Regardless of the weather, we will be outside, exercising. It's good for all of us.
