Piss off, Posty!

I was at the post office three times this weekend (two different locations, no less) trying only somewhat successfully to get the shipping boxes & stamps I needed. Only one of the locations had a kiosk, & it was out of stamps, & both locations were out of flat-rate boxes. No postal rates posted to aid consumers--had to look up the current postcard rate & Japan letter rate on my phone. It's the week before Christmas... Am I supposed to be surprised that they're struggling financially?
It was almost worth the trip to the 80th & Conser location, though, to see the amazing & ornate vintage post boxes. The stars give them some holiday flair!
