No-good Shibas! Here are this morning's antics. Even threats of returning them to rescue doesn't dissuade them!
Lord, grant me the strength to not kill the Shiba who was just standing out in the yard, eating all the grass seed I put down yesterday. I worked on that lawn for seven hours, mostly weeding & spreading seed. Not only was it time-consuming, it's very expensive, and I'd rather have grass in the yard than growing inside my idiot dog.
I contacted Scotts about their SmartSeed, to make sure it's not toxic (the MSDS says "very low toxicity to humans or animals"). The birdseed Taylor ate last year almost killed him from bloat. Never a dull moment!
As for Aki, I actually don't have proof that she dug up the flowers I had just potted (just thought the drawing was funny). I noticed that something had been digging in the pot where I planed cilantro, too. So it might be a hungry critter who came by at night. I may have to give it a lil' Shiba Surprise.

If you used SmartSeed (it's Pennington) - it isn't toxic.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I used Scott's. They sent me the MSDS and it's non-toxic too. Relief! :)
