Charlotte and Amie were married today, after dating for the last 15 years. They were waiting until their marriage would be legal in their home state of Ohio. I am so proud of them, and happy to have been able to join them in celebration. Dave and Charlotte and I met at CCAD and became fast friends... Like siblings.
And, the winning happen to be one of the coolest ever, as it was held at the famous Columbus zoo. They got married in "Africa." Two penguins walked down the aisle, and we got to hold a three-month-old baby bearcat (they really do smell like popcorn!), pet the penguins, and feed six giraffes. A dream come true.
The wonderful photo collage is from Charlotte's good friends Cat and Lisa, who I have now had the opportunity to meet twice in Ohio. They are my kind of people! So much fun celebrating with everyone.
