I was in the middle of a raging sinus and ear infection thanks to lake diving last week, so I had a drink in hand all night to soothe my throat. Seeing those bright metal flamingos cheered me up!
This is the year the Humane Society tried a different format: a sit down dinner that began wants the silent auction had closed. The food was good and it was nice to have a chance to sit and visit with friends before the program started.
