Friends through thick and thin: a great time at the ethnic enrichment festival, which ended in one of the most severe rainstorms we have ever encountered!
A great hike (and quick swim for Taylor) at Shawnee Mission Park, which ended in a MASSIVE seed tick infestation on the dogs and in my home, and a couple of fleas to add insult to injury.
We managed to have a lot of fun despite the fact that I had any serious sinus and double ear infection. Isn't that just like life… You have to take the bad with the good. I am fortunate and thankful to have such good friends to join me in that journey! And so glad to have had a fun week with Dave, at home, at Art Unleashed, and celebrating Brett's birthday. We're all sad to see him go.
