Let me also say that I do not intend for that quote to be conflated with the results of yesterday's presidential election. I don't believe that our country is going to fall apart, nor do I believe it needs to be made great again. The people of our country are what has made it great--we have much more impact on each other man the president does on how each day goes.
I don't use my blog as a political platform because I hope that my posts unite and inspire joy, rather than divide people. So I will just say this: in the future, I feel that we should all demand that our leaders bring us together as a nation, rather than systematically and intentionally divide us. Both major parties are guilty of that this time around. For this important job leading our country, we deserve and should expect a leader who works hard to enact change and compromise that will bring us together.
