   Shot a photo of a hastily-thrown-together fireworks stand the other day, and just realized that Kristin's kitty, Pearl, must have been the model:

   Not much activity around the flowers today, so here are a few of last year's fauna. Both these yellow flowers and the alium have grown nearly as tall as me, which I realize is not saying much but is still pretty impressive for a flower.
