Hitching a ride

There's a lot of climbing going on lately—and not just me, at Ibex! In the last 48 hours, Miss Kiz has decided that every time I lean forward, it's her cue to leap onto my back. This is adorable when you see it coming. It may not have so much appeal if she leapt on me in the dark. But I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
It's easy to train cats when you play off their natural behavior, so I'm planning to teach her to hop on, then sit on my shoulders as I stand up. I will either end up with a very cool party trick, or a bloody neck. Wish me luck!
Update: maybe the whole jumping on my back thing was poorly thought through, as Miss Kiz appears to have developed a taste for my blood.
This morning I had gotten out of the shower & gotten dressed, and as I turned away from the bed, that rat leapt onto me, bit my scalp and then my ear. Here we go again!!!
