My friend Michele began posting "40 days of Thankfulness" every day as her Facebook status. I'd like to borrow her idea, but I'll do it here so it's easier for me to go back & see the list. Catching up from this weekend:
Friday 10/12: I'm thankful to have a job at a great company. And I'm SO thankful to have a great group of adventure buddies with whom to literally climb the walls after a stressful week!
Saturday 10/13: I'm thankful to have enough spending money to buy a climbing harness & shoes for the above, as well as my first backpacking sleeping pad. And also that today's weather was rainy and murky all day, allowing me to park it on the couch to sort photos & video from Mexico. (A HUGE task, but between 10 am Sat - 1 am Sun, I finished!) Now to begin creating a slideshow... I'm especially thankful to love exploring and to have had the opportunities to go on some truly amazing adventures. I will never forget all the fun we had in Mexico!
Sunday 10/14: I'm so thankful for my friends, who filled my home today. Whether I met them through yoga (Britten & Rich), or through volunteering (MSIR & adopters), they are wonderful, happy, bright, generous people that I am so lucky to know!

What do you use for harnesses for your shibas? Mine's 11 now and I'm thinking a harness might be better for him than a martingale...
ReplyDeleteHi Janet! My dogs have worn harnesses by the brands Lupine and Premier. Currently we're using Lupine, which has a lifetime guarantee—even if chewed! (Though mine wear the harness most of the time, and chewing hasn't been an issue since Aki was a puppy.) We like the step-in style harness. http://lupinepet.com/step-in-harness/
