Tough Mudder

   Drawing, and making fun of coworkers: two of my very favorite pastimes. Gary and I were reminiscing about Warrior Dash and Ruckus, and anticipating the upcoming Rugged Maniac. Gary had sent photos of the Spartan Race, reportedly the hardest of them all.
   I asked him if he had heard of Tough Mudder, which my friend Laura and her then-fiance ran last December. He hadn't, so I explained that it's a 10-mile adventure race, full of mud-laden obstacles including hanging strips of barbed wire that you must run through, dodging—because they have electric current.
   Gary laughed, then said, "I grew up on a farm! Raising pigs! In mud! We had electric fences all over!"
"YOU INVENTED THE TOUGH MUDDER!!!" I laughed.
