My poor gazebo has no way for the snow to pass through it, and there's so much snow that it was sagging terribly this morning. I attempted to knock some of the snow out of it, but the snow was heavy and frozen on the bottom, stuck to the fabric. So I decided I'd deal with it later.
A few minutes ago, I finished shoveling the driveway and went to the back door to bring the dogs inside. While I was making lunch, I heard an odd noise. I didn't think much of it until I walked by the back door again and saw that my poor gazebo had finally given way to the two feet of snow on it. I had done my best to clear it off, but this second large snowfall sealed its fate. I'm not upset about it, just very, VERY thankful that the dogs weren't outside when it collapsed. Could have had a couple of flattened Shibas!
