Last night I worked at one of the beer tents in KC's Irish Fest, with Fred & his family & friends. The beer tents were all staffed by volunteers who are parents of the locate private Catholic elementary schools. And me. (No kids still as far as I know.) We were pretty busy for our 4-hour shift, and I helped man the front of the booth, taking orders and shouting them to the three guys in the back, who poured the beers & ran them up to us. Our tip jars were pretty full (in part due to the fact that the three guys were wearing Catholic schoolgirl's skirts! LOL), so hopefully we made some decent bucks for Visitation school. It was a blast!
