Dog & Mouse

This weekend I bought a new toy for the cats. They had one of these years ago and LOVED it. A little mouse zooms around the ring when they bat it with their paws. Unfortunately they may never get to try this one, because Aki can't leave it alone. She is SURE that it's a REAL mouse in there, and she's fixated. But it has been good for some laughs! The shibas would actually be good mousers, as they are a hunting breed. And Atom is a proven mouser—he has caught two mice in the house in five years (one dead, one alive). And Gypsy...well, let's just say that Gypsy doesn't do manual labor.
