I always like returning to my childhood home to see what's changed. Here is Mom's backyard. Too bad there wasn't snow for sledding! I'll never forget that winter that I built a ramp at the bottom of our sled-trail, which froze solid after dark, and upon which I cracked my tailbone.
The Canada geese still visit Alum Creek daily:And in the background is the fallen treehouse that Dad built, where we used to play:Hard to believe this tree was shorter than me when it was planted 20 years ago!
An artistic shot of Kristin & Jeff, hoping to feed some geese:Gathered 'round in the back room on Christmas Eve: Martha & Riley, Kristin & Kelley, and Brad:
I like to call this shot "before":
Which I guess would make these ones "after":
All I can say is that I was in a similar position on multiple occasions, which is why it's good that I'm the designated photographer and not the photographee!
