It was cool to get to stare into the eyes of a big furry capybara that probably weighs as much (more??) as I do! They remind me of giant guinea pigs. (Check out those 3-toed feet!) 
The tropics exhibit also housed several varieties of monkeys & tamarins, toucans, tree porcupines & asian otters. (Who screeched LOUDLY for food when they saw their keeper walk by.) 
"If I can just reach that key, we'll be free and then the FUN will start!!"
And after that fun, sushi at Kokoro Maki House in Waldo! The food was great: pretty much all the rolls we ordered had avocado, cream cheese, tempura batter & sweet unagi sauce. A match made in heaven! Thanks Allyson!!!And when she dropped me off at home, I fumbled with my keys a bit since I so rarely come in the front door. And my problems were compunded because I could hear Taylor howling & howling on the other side of the door: Woo-wooooooooo-woo-woo-woo! I was laughing so hard my hands wouldn't work. Love coming home to my own personal zoo!
