A view up the main street, with brick streets and tiny storefronts. Martha Stewart herself couldn't have designed anything this quaint!
We met 3 Japanese people (and their American host) outside the Grand Central Hotel. I'm sure they were just as surprised to bump into an American who speaks Japanese toting two shiba inu, as I was to bump into Japanese people in the middle of a tiny town in Kansas!
日本人：ああ、柴犬！
私：はい、柴犬です。
日本人：日本語が出来ますね。
私：いいえ、少しだけ出来ますよ。
日本人：全部できます！
私：いいえ！まだ上手じゃありません。
