Groan.

Is it bad when you wake up to the sound of water gushing INSIDE your house at 7 am on a Saturday? Yes. Yes, it is. Turns out the valve inside one of the spigots to my washing machine decided to give up. I was awakened as usual by the dogs, who seemed a little more urgent. Walking down the stairs, I heard water running & thought, "Huh... wonder if one of the toilets is running? No... Seems to be coming from the basement... DAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!" Fortunately I caught it in time for the flooding to be contained to the laundry room. Good thing it happened on a day I was home. Happy Holiday Weekend!
