After mowing the lawn on Saturday I noticed that the clematis is finally blooming! (I planted two varieties last fall, and the red one promptly shriveled up. This is the first time I've seen blooms from the white one. And there will be a lot more to come—I've never seen so many buds!
The hostas are blooming, too, and with the sun at their backs, you can really see the striped detail in the flowers:
