Happy Boss's Day to all the bosses out there. My staff gave me some really nice cards, and Joan surprised me with this tiny modern kokeshi girl. Supah-cute! Her name is "Sachi," which is close to my first Japanese teacher's name, Sachie. She's supposed to bring joy. And she looks great with the two wooden kokeshi I just bought at the Japan Festival.
Ginny & I saw those at the store the other day, and I was like "What are these? I don't know, but they're cute!" :)
