I landed at SFO, picked up my car, & headed north. I met my buddy Tiffany (who lived a mile from me growing up, & with whom I attended grades K-12... And shared the valedictorian honors) for a great hike in unseasonably warm & sunny weather (70+!). The woods were as beautiful, peaceful, and fragrant as I remembered. An appropriate locale for my first real hike following my ankle surgery. Although I was definitely sore, it felt so good to stretch my legs and breathe the fresh coastal air!
