Some "me" time

   I spent about eight hours in the kitchen today, between cooking up some delectable desserts for work, & then making a big dinner to celebrate Kelly's birthday. Homemade chocolate chip cheesecake ice cream, and Oreo truffles, for a party at work...

   pickled cucumbers, roasted broccoli, spinach salad, homemade pico de gallo...

   & grilled KC strip steaks & shrimp skewers. Requiring two trips to the store because I forgot some things. And that was after doing laundry, & nearly passing out from mowing the lawn in the morning's heat. Phew!

Sorry for the ugly feet, but this polish is rad!

   So tonight, I gave myself a manicure with the glorious polish from Amy. I have never used anything beyond red, pink, or clear in my nails before, so this felt a little crazy. Crazy-good, that is!!!*
