Inside Out
I've always been a science nerd, so I can't help but be fascinated by these images, though it's always a bit surreal (and unwelcome!) to see the inside of yourself. This is my MRI from last Thursday, showing a clearer view of the u-shaped fracture of my humerus and the edema (fluid collecting around the bone) that remains from the impact of the spill I took on the mountain. It's a top-down view, with my back at the bottom of the image. So far the bone hasn't detached and the muscles look good. Fingers crossed on no surgery to follow!
