DiveDiveDiveDiveDiveDive

I'm doing a little light reading. I need to catch up on the texts and knowledge reviews to officially complete the 5 certifications I earned in Roatan (advanced open water, wreck, night, deep, and navigation). But first, I need to read the manuals for this week's classes and complete all the knowledge reviews for those: emergency first responder, and rescue diver. I'm especially excited to learn EFR since that's applicable in everyday situations. Wally at Skin n Scuba said he saved a man's life (choking incident) just two weeks after he took the course!
Holy crap. This is a lot of work. But wow. Awesome. Three years ago at 1:30 am in Maui when I was having a full-on panic attack—couldn't breathe, throwing up, shaking, the works—in anticipation of my first "real" dive—I'd never have thought I'd be here. But I swallowed my fear and got out there in Maui—and made it all the way to 80' with no troubles,. And I saw garden eels to boot, thank you very much. Can't wait to see how far I can go now...
