Michael came over and rode with me to our Divemaster class this morning. As an extrovert, it's so tough for me to be around someone when *I* can't effectively communicate… I would love to learn some sign language, but haven't had the opportunity yet.
Our car ride was peaceful: he studied EFR, and I belted out some favorite guilty pleasure tunes as they came on the radio (after humming, then cautiously singing, then finally loosening up). They played Taylor Swift's "I knew you were trouble", Pharrell Williams' "Happy", Katy Perry and Juicy J's "Dark Horse", One Direction's "story of my life", Rihanna's "where have you been", Jason DeRulo's "talk dirty to me", Chris Brown's "loyal"... Nice to know that his ears wouldn't be offended by my voice. ;)
