A most thoughtful gift from my friends Britten and Rich: a compass necklace. So that I don't spend so much time lost in 2015. This was prompted by the 7 mile trail run that Rich & I ran back in September. The course was littered with leaves and was truly confusing, as it doubled back on itself, and neither of us had ever been there before. Had we trusted my sense of direction, we would've nearly doubled our mileage. Fortunately, I was smart enough to follow Rich, rather than him being dumb enough to follow me. ;) #nosenseofdirection #nointernalcompass
