   We were all feeling pretty aloha. What a fun group! This is Keith, a boat captain and boat designer/builder. He has a lot of experience on the water and on the islands, as he was born here!

   And here are Yuriko and Jun... who is playing the ukulele and serenading us with "the neverending story." Jun has always loved American pop culture and TV, a fan of Miami Vice, and apparently 80s movies. He is also a real badass surfer dude.

   And this was not a terrible place for the surf lesson he gave me. Waikiki beach... That's Diamond Head in the background!
