Sharing this photo that totally made my day... This is Kyra, the fearful six-year-old Shiba whom I fostered for a few weeks last Thanksgiving. She had just been released from a miserable life of breeding at a puppy mill in Central Missouri.
She was so nervous then that this adorable photo scarcely seems possible, but it is living proof that there is hope for all animals, if we are patient enough to help them. It took 2 or 3 foster homes to get her ready for her forever family. Looks like she hit the jackpot.
What an awesome early Christmas present to see this today!!! Congratulations, Kyra.❤️
