This Shiba, whom I know through a forum called Shibaholics on Facebook, is becoming quite the sensation. Her name is Kinta and she makes this sweet, squinty expression at her owners, like many Shibas do, with ears out flat in "airplane" formation.
Owner, Michelle Proctor, started posting a daily squint. Most of us look forward to it, but a few mean-spirited people apparently complained that she needed to go to the vet because something was wrong with her eyes. Just goes to show that they don't know the breed. She is the very picture of love and happiness! The haters caused a happy backlash, resulting in a lot of positive attention for Kinta.
I posted the drawing above and got a great response from the group.
